Margaret’s Cleaners has long been respected as one of the nation’s finest cleaners. Specialty Restoration Processes

Margaret’s Textile Restoration Service™ was developed with the high end garment in mind. Harsh conventional restoration techniques are inappropriate for delicate fabrics and designer-quality construction processes. Such fragile items require individual evaluation and treatment. Ozone and other vapor treatments are a necessary supplement, but cannot take the place of delicate couture cleaning. With the diverse spectrum of processes that we are capable of applying, we are ready to handle almost any garment restoration challenge presented to us.

Restoration Experience

The Horst family of six manages Margaret’s day-to-day operations and includes the third and fourth generation of a family with over 140 years of continuous dry cleaning management experience. In addition, Margaret’s retains on staff an industry expert on restoration to assist with the most challenging of jobs. He “wrote the book” on odor restoration!

Specialty Equipment & Customized Facility

Margaret’s possesses the necessary equipment, techniques and experience to restore fine textiles to their previous elegance and appeal. All our work is performed in-house under the supervision of management and staff who routinely produce some of the most respected cleaning services nationwide. Our isolated restoration cleaning facility prevents cross-contamination of undamaged items from smoke-laden textiles and includes separate storage and treatment centers.

Household Items

In addition to wardrobes, many household textiles may require treatment to remediate the damage caused by smoke and other odors.  Window treatments, bed linens, table linens, comforters, stuffed animals, pillows and numerous other household textiles all require professional treatment to remove odors.  Often, the remediation process for these household textiles may prove to be more difficult that that of clothing.  In some instances, time consuming hand cleaning is the only option and requires the highest degree of experience. At Margaret’s, we posses the necessary experience to restore these items.

Nationwide Service

Margaret’s now offers our restoration services nationwide. Should a high-value wardrobe suffer smoke or other damage, the location of the service provider should not be a limiting factor in making the decision as to how to restore the damaged items. Margaret’s is prepared to transport items to our processing facility, restore them to odor-free condition, store them until the consumer is ready for them, and transport the wardrobe back ready-to-wear. For exclusive wardrobes the transportation cost associated with assuring that Margaret’s is the service provider will be a small factor when considering the risk of replacing the wardrobe if serviced by a less skilled provider who lacks the experience of processing delicate high fashion garments.
